Breaking... Abia State Governor sacked. #RANB
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Nigeria has reportedly annulled the election of Okezie Ikpeazu as governor of Nigeria's south eastern state of Abia.
The Court went further to order the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to issue certificate of return to Dr Samson Oga while Ikpeazu on his own part should vacate office with immediate effect.
The Court in its ruling said that Gov. Ikpeazu submitted false information to his Party the PDP before their primary elections which took place in December 2014.
