#TRINITY

Do you believe in trinity? Most Christians would yes without thinking twice but the real problem starts when they are asked to define the word Trinity or at least explain what they meant by Trinity. Trinity is not in the Bible, that is for sure but what they are tying to describe with the word trinity may or may not be in the bible.
Often times i have been asked this question and as a response I've always replied them by demanding to know what trinity is all about before saying whether i believe in it or not. This is how i came to know that this word Trinity actually meant different things to different people in #Christendom.
I was told that Trinity is about God-the Father, God-the Son and God-the Holy Spirit, three in one. Some say that the Holy Spirit is not a personality rather that it is an active force emanating from God, hmmm! there is nothing I've not heard.

John 10:30 "I and my father are one." does this mean that they are one and the same or that they appear in different forms as in sometimes HE appears as the Son and sometimes as the #Father? If that is the case then what is this verse talking about as in 2Cor 13:14 "The grace of the #Lord #Jesus #Christ, The #love of God and the communion of the #Holy #Spirit abide with you all, Amen" am not a scholar, am not a theologian, am not a historian, am not a specialist, am just a child of God, who believes in the fact the Bible is the pure and only word of God available to us today and i don't easily get carried away by human school of thoughts and doctrines and dogmas and concepts and their wise reasoning. If it is not in the Bible, it is of no use in the knowledge of the Truth, I just read the scriptures and am okay by that period.
To think that God is three Spirits dwelling in one body, is your personal opinion and I respect that but why would that single body say in Genesis 1:26 "Let US make man in our own image, after our own likeness" who was this single body talking to then I ask? .
In their defense, they have often quoted this verse 1John 5:7-8 "for there are three that bears record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one." this for me doesn't mean that they dwell in one body, nothing stops their oneness from being in terms of purpose as opposed to in terms of one individual being.
Colossians 2:9 "For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the #Godhead bodily." Well, no matter how this verse may sound, if He in whom dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily is on earth and refers to someone else who is in Heaven as a Father then i think it makes the explanation clearer for me especially with regards to what happened in Mathew 3:16-17 "and Jesus when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens where opened onto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him...?  here was Christ stepping out of the water and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him like a Dove and a voice spoke from heaven saying this is my beloved Son in him I am well pleased, hear you Him." this is my definition of what they call trinity, three different Entities united in purpose and working together as one. If one is called the #Son and the other the Father then the owner of the power or the controller is well defined.
He also is the one that is begged by the Son for the release of the Comforter-Holy Spirit, so this Entities are not equal n matter how you look at it, all power was given to the Son by the Father, so the one who gives also has the power to take back, he is the ultimate #God, the Almighty God, #Yahwey or #Jehovah, Chi-Ukwu or #Chukwu, the one who commands and gives and sends. The person who speaks the Word that is Christ Jesus, and if Christ is the firstborn of all creations then no wonder HE is called the Son, it means that HE was before anything that was and there was nothing that was made without Him, because the Father as in Genesis will always say let US make and it will be made, so the truth is very clear, any other thing for me is human reasoning.
